Poetry Issue 3
I am a poet, so I am definitely fond of this section of the magazine. I’m not above picking poets who have demonstrated their constant, sturdy craft over the years, am I Lyn, or A.D., or Louis? Oh, and I haven’t forgotten you, Doug Draime and Tim Peeler. Well, let’s face it, there are a lot of savvy veterans in this issue. But there are names that are newer to me, and I’m afraid I’m guilty of picking their work only because it is good.
I've shared space with some of them, such as Carol Lynn Grellas and Donal Mahoney. I’ve been published by others, such as Sandy Benitez and Corey Cook. And then there is M.P. Powers, Mather Schneider, Karla Huston, Michael Newell, Luis Berriozabal and Robert Demaree. I just got to know you along the way, and I hope it's a long and lasting friendship.
I rejoice that you have all come together here in issue #3 of Pig in a Poke. May we get together again, and frequently!
